Types of membership:
1. Family (maximum of 300)
2. Single (unmarried with no residing children, or an individual who has been a family member for 5+ years)
3. Senior Single (unmarried age 65+)
4. Senior Couple (couple with at least one member age 65+)
5. Golden (50+ year member and/or Club Founder)
6. Winter (single or couple for paddle tennis only; maximum of 30)
The Club By-laws define each of the units above along with the maximum number allowed per membership unit. Copies of the By-laws are available at the main office.
Admission Procedure:
All applications for membership in the club must be made in writing to the Board of Governors on a form provided by the club and shall be accompanied by the written recommendation of one adult club member who personally knows the applicant and who propose and sponsors him/her for membership. If the applicant does not know any member he/she may obtain membership through a meeting with a representative from the Board of Governors. The Board shall vote upon each application for membership, and an affirmative vote of five members of the Board shall be required for approval of any application for membership. The Board of Governors may require any applicant to personally appear before it, or any designated member of the Board, prior to voting on the application of said applicant.
Resignation Procedure:
A dated letter of resignation must be written by the bondholder(s), personally signed by the bondholder(s), and sent to Douglas Schwartz, Membership Chairperson. You will be instructed to return all ID cards, the Membership Bond and Assessment(s), if applicable. Please make a copy of your bond prior to mailing the original.
Resignation will not be considered effective until ID cards, bond and the bondholder's signed letter are received by the Membership Chairperson. Please note that members resigning after April 30th will owe dues for the current season.
Bond redemption date varies depending on the date resignation is received and the number of new families invited into the club. For the past five years the average wait time between resignation and bond redemption has been 6-12 months.
