The Roxbury Swim & Tennis Club membership is open to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, physical or mental limitation or disabled status.  There shall be no policy of giving member preference to anyone for any reason.

The Club is a corporation, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Connecticut.  Its' purpose is to promote athletic and social activities among its members.

The Club By-Laws define each type of membership and limit the number of units within each category.

All membership units (except "Seasonal Platform Tennis") run from May 1st through April 30th and are required to pay a one-time $2,500 capital assessment fee when joining, pay annual dues, and purchase a $2,000 non-transferable bond which is subject to 10% Connecticut dues tax in the second year of membership. The face value of the bond is refundable after resignation and a new member purchases their bond.

Applying for Membership

An application for membership in the Club must be sent to the Membership Chairperson, along with a $50 application fee. All applicants must obtain written recommendations from two current membership units. If you don't know any current members, membership may be obtained through a meeting with the General Manager or a representative from the Board of Governors. The unit dues are 60% of the Family unit dues.

Senior Single is defined as one unmarried, divorced or widowed adult who is a minimum of 65 years of age.  The unit dues are 40% of the Family unit dues.

The unit dues, including Connecticut "dues" tax, are $660 for a single and $770 for a family. No application fee, initiation fee, or bond is required.
