Jan Cingel – Tennis Director

Jan returns to Roxbury for his 6th season as Tennis Director. A native of Slovakia, Jan was a successful junior tennis player, earning an ITF World Junior Ranking and making the top 10 in all of the country's junior age groups. Jan came to the United States to attend Texas A&M University, where he graduated with a double major in Occupational Training and Development and Finance. He also playeed for their men's tennis team.  After graduation, Jan moved to Connecticut to pursue his tennis career. He is a PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) certified pro and has taught tennis and run adult and junior programs at Shippan Racquet Club, Kings Highway Tennis Club, Proform Tennis Academy and the Tokeneke Club. In 2014 and 2018,  he was awarded Roxbury's "Employee of the Year." Jan and his wife Kate live in Stamford.

Marshall Brown – Head Pro

Marshall returns to Roxbury for this 8th season as Head Tennis Pro. An Atlanta native, Marshall began playing tennis at age six and competed through all junior age groups.  He was No. 1 in singles and doubles in the boy's 18's for the state of Georgia and attended Middle Tennessee State University where he was a 4 time All-Conference player.  After graduating, he played singles and doubles on the ATP tour. In addition to Roxbury, Marshall has taught tennis at the IFPA Tennis Academy in Tampa, the Olympic Tennis Center in Atlanta, Shippan Racquet Club in Stamford, and Belle Haven Country Club in Greenwich, CT. He currently works at Chelsea Piers in Stamford. 

Mehdi Bichri – Assistant Pro

Mehdi returns to Roxbury for his 3rd season at Roxbury. He was born in Lille, France and recently graduated from Campbellsville University in Kentucky where he majored in Business Administration and played for their men's tennis team. 

Gary Rendek – Assistant Pro

Gary joins the Roxbury tennis staff for his first season as an Assistant Tennis Pro. He was born in Budapest, Hungary and won the Hungarian National High School Championships two consecutive years in the #1 position. In 2018 Gary transfered to Idaho State after two years at Mesa Community College where he was named Arizona Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2018 and earned First Team All-American honors and the Academic Student-Athlete award.

Alex Reyes – Assistant Pro

Alex returns to Roxbury for his 3rd season as an Assistant Tennis Pro. He was born in Madrid, Spain and is currently in college majoring in Business Administration and Accounting.
